Diego Hernandez, MD, is a Board-Certified Vascular Surgeon, who specializes in the treatment of vein conditions and peripheral arterial disease. His Bloomfield Hills office was the first Outpatient Based Lab (OBL) established by a vascular surgeon in SE Michigan, with the purpose of providing unparalleled and comprehensive vascular care by offering diagnostic and treatment services in an office setting.

The only clinic in Metro Detroit founded and operated by a vascular surgeon with over 20 years of experience, Bloomfield Vein & Vascular offers patients the kind of care that is expected of an office that specializes in vein and vascular conditions.

The Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) has awarded BVV with the distinguished status of an accredited vascular ultrasonography facility, ensuring that when patients undergo an ultrasound, the results are of the highest standards. We are proud that we acquired and maintained this status since we first opened our doors, in 2015.
Our team of highly skilled and knowledgeable professionals, including our two exceptional Nurse Practitioners, Jessica and Natalie, our talented vascular ultrasound techs, our specialized vascular nurses and the amazing support staff at the front office and within the angiography suite, are all dedicated to ensuring that patients are provided with the greatest quality care in an environment that is warm and welcoming.
